Coolbinia Project for Robeson Architects

I recently had the pleasure to photograph some light and bright internals for Robeson Architects. Simone completed the interior design and selections for this project.

The home designed by Franco Carozzi Architects; is furnished with some amazing pieces from Stylecraft, Living Edge, with artworks by Johnny Romeo, Matt Hayes, and our very own These Don't Die

Coffee by design - Mobilia - & Cafe, Claremont
mobilia-cafe-claremont

From the doyens of design comes a space sure to excite the adorers of style and heavenly cups of caffeinated goodness in Perth.

Mobilia, leading design destination in Claremont, have paired pastels with style and delicious treats inside their showroom to create & Café.

The former lifeless space, home to a Retravision store, was reawakened by award winning architects Space Agency in 2016, with the aim to later open a café inside its spacious walls.

Architects Michael Patroni and Dimmity Walker ripped away its lowered roof to expose the original pressed tin ceiling and beams, and crumbled away parts of its stark plastered walls to reveal aged brick.

Upon the original floorboards, Salvatore Fazzari and Mirella Scaramella have filled the spectacular space with celebrated international and national design to lust over and purchase.

The café follows the theme of the store’s interiors, understated pairings of different materials and high-end design pieces to create a unique and inspiring space.

It encourages Mobilia visitors to perch up on a high-end piece inside the café, munch on a delicious southern Italian treat and ponder over which piece to invest in.

Luxe living at its highest
aria-swanbourne-1

Award winning Hillam Architects certainly made a bold statement on apartment living when they designed Aria.

Renowned in Perth for their opulent and innovative designs, the architects lived up to their reputation with these world-class apartments.

Perched in Swanbourne, Aria Luxury Apartments sit proud amongst lush landscaped gardens in its coastal locale.

It’s no mean feat designing a high-end complex for a 6552sqm site that not only reflects the high-end design aesthetic of its exclusive suburb, but also embraces the sweeping views to their fullest extent.

Yet exploring the architecture both inside and out, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were inside an exotic resort where no cent has been spared.

Each detail is meticulously thought out, from the contrast of sharp angles which have been warmed by feature timber to create a cohesive yet intriguing look, to the metallic gold anodized aluminium screens that instantly create interest from the outset.

Bespoke craftsmanship laces the building as do high-end finishes and a modern colour palette of white, black, greys and nature tones.

A clever U shape protects the communal pool and entertainment space from summer breezes, meaning its lucky residents can utilize the space all year round. Not to mention the private gym, dining room, residents only lounge, yoga room and wine cellar.

Hillam Architects have proved once again they are the masters when it comes designing luxurious, modern day living spaces.
